Why the escape we seek is just another form of the cage

Good morning!
Another day is ahead of you. Your alarm clock rings, pulling you out of sleep. You get up, even though you would gladly sleep for another two or three hours. You drag yourself out of bed, go through the morning rituals of hygiene and breakfast, and then leave for work. And already you can’t wait for the weekend, to dedicate some time to yourself, to return to a semblance of normal reality.
But isn’t this rhythm exactly what you once wished for? Because career is the most important thing, isn’t it? Yes — until illness comes! Then health becomes the only desire.

The root of stress

And every illness is preceded by stress. Stress is the consequence of the so-called modern way of life. I’m not even sure at what age a person begins to experience stress for the first time. Perhaps even children in the lower grades of primary school feel it, as a result of both their parents’ lives and their own school obligations.
